<p>Dorothy Jean Boggs,78, went to be with her lord, Saturday, March 16, 2024.</p><p><br></p><p>She was born November 20, 1945, in Konawa, Oklahoma to Buster and Mae Weldon. Dorothy married Bruce Franklin Boggs on April 2, 1971. They were married for almost 28 years until his death in 1999. They had one child, Jarrod Weldon Boggs, of Midwest City. Jarrod was his mother's biggest fan and best friend and she thought the world of him.</p><p><br></p><p>Dorothy was an avid and expert gardener and also enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint. Her other pastime was hunting for antiques, a family tradition she passed on to her son.</p><p><br></p><p>Dorothy is survived by her son; her sisters Gail, Cynthia, and Terri; her brother Jerry.</p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sister Carolyn,</p><p>her brother Glenn.</p><p><br></p><p>Dorothy is fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, friends and her church community.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Rheumatic Diseases Center of Oklahoma (Please see info below)</p>

Dorothy Jean Boggs,78, went to be with her lord, Saturday, March 16, 2024.


She was born November 20, 1945, in Konawa, Oklahoma to Buster and Mae Weldon. Dorothy married Bruce Franklin Boggs on April 2, 1971. They were married for almost 28 years until his death in 1999.
