<p>Harold Travis Phenald, 75, born and raised in Pride, LA, and a current resident of Central, LA, died on Saturday, March 16, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marie Booty Phenald; one son, Brad Phenald and wife Jenny Bishop Phenald; two granddaughters: Claire Phenald and Hannah Lopez; and many special nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Nettice Phenald; four brothers: Lionel Phenald, Merlin Phenald, Howard Phenald, and Michael Ray Phenald; and sister Patricia Phenald Ballard. Travis was the co-owner of Marine Engine Specialists in Baton Rouge for 17 years until he retired in 2008. His favorite place to travel to was Gatlinburg, TN where he was always hoping to see a black bear while driving through Cades Cove. There will be a memorial service held at a later date. </p>
