Patricia Louise Dority

Dority, Patricia (Rineer), 81, of Egg Harbor Township, died suddenly on March 15th, 2024. Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Ruth Rineer.

She was a graduate of Conestoga Valley High School, Lancaster, PA, Chestnut Hill Hospital School of Nursing, Philadelphia, PA, and attended Pennsylvania State University.

Pat loved nursing and worked in various fields before being appointed Director of Health Services at Georgian Court University, Lakewood, NJ, where she served for twenty-five years. She was past president and member of the board of the New Jersey College Health Association.

She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Linwood. She and her husband, Bob, were active for many years in the Marriage Encounter and Pre-Cana programs in the Philadelphia area.

Pat is survived by her beloved husband and best friend, Robert Dority; their children, Scott husband of Misty, Egg Harbor Township, Kristen, wife of John Macchia, Egg Harbor Township, and Heather, wife of Michael Guiliano, Mount Laurel; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, George Rineer II. She is also survived by her siblings Linda Sheaffer, Lancaster, PA and Thomas Rineer, husband of Mary, Duncannon, PA, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 724 Maple Avenue, Linwood, on Saturday April 6th from 10-11am with a Mass of Christian burial to follow at 11am. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
