<p>Margaret M. Steck, 93, of Bethlehem, passed away on March 17, 2024 in St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem. She was the beloved wife of Robert N. Steck with whom she shared 48 years of marriage before his passing in 2003. Born in Tamaqua, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Catherine (Walters) Gallagher. She attended Allentown Sacred Heart School of Nursing and served as a nurse for many years at Sacred Heart Hospital. Later she also worked in private duty nursing until finally retiring at the age of 83. Margaret was an avid card player and belonged to the Jollietes, Lutheran Manor and the Palace card clubs. She was a parishioner of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Bethlehem.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors: She is survived by her children, Catherine Hayduk, Mary Steck, Robert Steck Jr., Janet Strout and their spouses; 5 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Daniel Gallagher, Jack Gallagher and Patrick Morgans; sisters, Teresa Lesaski, and Catherine Gallagher-Morgans.</p><p><br></p><p>Services: Graveside Services will be Private in Holy Saviour Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to James Funeral Home, Bethlehem.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, contribution to VNA Hospice of St. Luke's, 240 UNION STATION PLAZA. BETHLEHEM. PA 18015</p>
