Vaillancourt, Laurier - passed away peacefully at Caressant Care, Cobden on Saturday, March 16, 2024 in his 84th year.

Laurier Vaillancourt of Pembroke, husband of the late Fay Vaillancourt (nee Gaudette).  Loving father of Claudelle Hegedus (late Ed), Welland; Sue Eheler (Emery), Cobden; Lisa Kruschinske (Conrad), Ottawa & Cathy Clark Busschaert, Napanee.  Predeceased by son Paul Vaillancourt.  Cherished grandfather of Nathan Hegedus (Ryan); Ashley Ward (David) & Devon Eheler (Melissa); Crystal Brinton (Curtis) & Cynthia Anderson (Lindsay); and great-grandfather of Ethan, Finn, Aiden, Daniel, Jacob, Logan & Tanner.  Son of the late Salem & Rose Vaillancourt (nee Chaput), and dear brother of Carmine Beauchamp, Rose-Marie Bergeron & Claudette Gruhl; and Cyril, Lawrence & Hank Vaillancourt.  Predeceased by sisters Margaret Vaillancourt & Caroline Gorgerat; and brother Marcel Vaillancourt.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  A special Thank-you to the nurses and staff at Caressant Care for their care of Dad over the last two years.
