<p>Alfred "Al" Richard, 74, a native of Thibodaux, Louisiana and resident of Houma, Louisiana passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on March 14, 2024.</p><p><br></p><p>A Memorial Visitation will be held in his honor on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral, Thibodaux, LA, from 8:00am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. The burial will follow in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery, Thibodaux, Louisiana.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his sons, Jarod Richard (Jennifer), and Jacob Richard (Jenna); daughters, Jennifer Richardel (Danny), Amy Bonneval (Patrick), and Alexandra Richard; brothers, Jerome "Dee" Richard (Connie), and Jim Richard; sisters, Ronnie Caillouet, Polly Rodrigue (Jimmy), and Marcy Webre (Mark); grandchildren, Rae, Max, Emmi, Kate, Anna, Luke, Charlie, Georgia, Allie, Adele, and Gabrielle.</p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Emile and Dorris Roux Richard; and brother, Greg Richard.</p><p><br></p><p>Al was a banker for over 40 years and cherished the many special relationships formed during his professional career. He served on several boards and was involved in many civic organizations. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and watching his favorite sports teams. He also enjoyed working in his yard, boiling crawfish for his family, and having his grandchildren over to swim.
