It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Rose Lalonde (née Bédard) on Thursday March 14, 2024 at the Maxville Manor; age 77 years. Margaret leaves to mourn her loving husband Albert, her dear children Robert (Maureen), Marcel, Diane (Laurier) and Suzanne (Dale). Dear sister to Eileen (Greg), Cecile (Dave), half sister Claudette (Remi) and half brother Claude. Margaret also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Julien (Kim), Marc, Luc, Jean-Pierre (Geneviève) and Katelyn. Margaret is predeceased by her parents Placide and Yvonne (née Bissonnette) Bédard, her daughter Aline, brother Rene and sister Theresa. Margaret will be missed by nieces, nephews, family members and friends. In keeping with Margaret's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday March 21st, 2024 at Eglise Sacré Coeur, 225 Main St. S, Alexandria.
