Robert Phillip Taylor

April 13, 1955-March 18, 2024

Robert Phillip Taylor, age 68 of Rogers, passed away Monday, March 18, 2024 at his home. He was born April 13,1955 in Pine Bluff to the late Robert N and Ann Taylor.

He graduated from Pine Bluff High School and played football for the Zebras. From a young age he played baseball. One of his favorite memories was being a member of the 1970 Babe Ruth Baseball World Series that came in second to Japan.

He met his wife Roseanna Hotmer Taylor in 1974 at UAM and they married January 7, 1978.

He was preceded in death by his parents Robert N. and Ann Taylor.

Phillip is survived by his wife Roseanna of Rogers, sister Gayla (Ned) of Maumelle, brother Gary of Pine Bluff, mother in law Jo Ann Johnson of Warren, and sister in law Julie (Ricky) of Monroe, La., along with nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Westfield Funeral Home in Springdale.
