<p><p>Lorraine I. Osowski, age 94, of Stevens Point, passed away March 18, 2024, at Whispering Pines in Plover.</p><p><br></p><p>Lorraine was born November 11, 1929, in Stevens Point, to Nickolas and Frances (Goszkowicz) Lukasavage. She attended local schools and graduated from PJ Jacobs High School in 1947.</p><p><br></p><p>After graduation, Lorraine was employed by the Bell Telephone Company as a telephone operator for 10 years. She was later employed by Sentry Insurance from 1970 until her retirement in 1987.</p><p><br></p><p>Lorraine enjoyed sewing, quilting, flower gardening, baking, bowling, making jig saw puzzles, Scrabble and playing card games like Bridge and Skip-Bo. She was the Monday afternoon coordinator for Bridge players at the Lincoln Center for 10 years.</p><p><br></p><p>She was married to Clarence Osowski on January 17, 1948, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Stevens Point. He died November 16, 1991. Their three children surviving her include two daughters, Renice Osowski of Verona and Karen (Don) Schultz of Stevens Point, and a son, James Osowski of Antigo.</p><p><br></p><p>Lorraine is survived by 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Suzanne (Gary) Pulchinski; a brother, Dennis Borski; and step-brothers, Dale (Barbara) Borski of Milwaukee and Roger (Betty) Borski of Bevent.</p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; a son, Todd Osowski; a grandson, Josh Osowski; brothers, Clifford and Ronald Lukasavage; and sisters, Margaret (Alois) Leberfing of Milwaukee and Patricia (George) Winarski of Eau Claire.</p><p><br></p><p>Lorraine was a member of St. Joseph Parish and served as an officer of the St. Anne Society for about 10 years in the 90's. She also loved singing in the choir. Macular degeneration slowly took her vision and made it difficult for her to drive and read.</p><p><br></p><p>A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 25, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church - 1709 Wyatt Avenue, Stevens Point. A time of visitation will precede the funeral from 9:30 AM until the time of service at the church. Burial will be held at Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point. Shuda Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family.</p></p>
