After a long and courageous battle with cancer, we are sad to announce the passing of Wayne Lafave at the Brockville General Hospital on March 14, 2024 at the age of 75. Loving partner of Cathy Ferguson. Beloved father of Debbie Pryer (Steve), Jason Lafave and Nick Lafave (Cassie). Proud grandfather of Logan and Jamie Pryer and Spencer, Alex and Madelyn Lafave. Dear brother of Pat Rochefort (Larry), Sherry Moseley (John), and Mike Lafave (Marsha). Wayne also leaves behind several nephews, extended family and friends. Wayne will be missed dearly by the Ferguson and MacMillan families. In following Wayne’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral and cremation has taken place. A private interment will be held at St. Francis Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the Brockville & District Hospital Foundation's Palliative Care Unit will be gratefully acknowledged. We would like to extend a special thank you to the Palliative Care Team for their support during this difficult time.
