Earnest Charles Harrell

Earnest Charles Harrell, age 85, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024. He was born in Paulding County on December 5, 1938 to the late John Webster Harrell and the late Myrtice Jones Harrell. Earnest worked more than 70 years as a musician.

Earnest is survived by his children, Connie Jabat (Jim), Bonnie Bielicki (Steve), Vivian Cagle (Carl) Ron Richardson (Teresa), Wayne Richardson; 13 grandchildren; 20+ great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandsons; sister, June Jordan; brothers, Frank Harrell (Linda), Luther Lee Harrell, John Harrell (Anita).

In addition to his parents, Earnest was also preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Stewart Harrell; son, Robert Charles Harrell; sister, Joan Argo and her husband, Frank Argo; sister Doris Brown and her husband Melvin Brown; brother-in-law, Stan Jordan; sister-in-law, Betty Harrell.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm in the chapel at the funeral home with his nephew Brian Harrell officiating. Wes Gore, Ryan Jabat, Patrick Cagle, Bobby Richardson, Denny Richardson and Dusty Richardson will be serving as pallbearers.
