Marvin L. "Budjie" Bedenbaugh

<p>It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marvin “Budjie” Bedenbaugh, 86. He peacefully departed March 16th after a 28 year courageous battle with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. </p><p>Survived by his devoted and loving wife of 65 years, Nellie, he leaves behind a legacy of love and family. He was cherished by his daughters Darlene (Robert) Lavisky and Carole Ann(Randy) Norman, as well as his grandchildren Ryan Lavisky, Erin (TJ) Zee, Carley, and Cameron Norman. He is also survived by his siblings Doris Smith, Elton (Veta), and David (Marilyn) Bedenbaugh, along with Melba (Terry) Shull and sister-in-law Betty Bedenbaugh. </p><p>Marvin was predeceased by his parents Quincey and Marguree Bedenbaugh, brothers Allen(Dorothy) and Doyle Bedenbaugh. </p><p>Budjie had a long career, starting as an electrician and eventually becoming a foreman. He worked for many different companies before retiring to run Bedenbaugh’s Wholesale Equipment for 36 years, a dream he cherished. In addition to his professional pursuits, Budjie served as a Boy Scout troop leader for Cedar Grove Lutheran Church, imparting valuable lessons and guidance to countless young lives. He also generously shared his time, coaching the ladies softball team and playing on the men’s team as well. </p><p>In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cedar Grove Lutheran Church or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (givenow.lls.org). A celebration of life will be held at Cedar Grove Lutheran Church on March 19th at 11AM with visitation one hour prior in the Fellowship Hall. Friends and family will gather to honor his memory and legacy. May he rest in peace, knowing he was cherished by all who knew him. </p>
