Robert J. Hughes, Sr., of Woburn, formerly of Arlington and Somerville, March 15, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Rose A. (Havlin) Hughes. Devoted father of Dawne Hughes, and her partner Jay Jordon, Robin Ingalls and her husband Gary Ingalls, all of Woburn, Robert J. Hughes Jr., and James M. Hughes, both of Somerville. Loving grandfather of Ashley Hughes and Brandie Lee Hughes. Great Grandfather of Christian Michael Ferrante, Blake Robert Gentile and Hailey Rose Donahue. Son of the late Margaret (Russell) and John William Hughes. Cousin of Warren Flynn and his wife Betty, of Wilmington. Brother of the late William Hughes, his late wife Roberta and Uncle of the late Dianne Hughes. Further survived by other loving family members. A visitation will be held at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., Arlington, Wednesday, March 20th from 10 to 11 AM with a service held at 11 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington. Robert proudly served in the US Army.
