Entered into rest peacefully to be with his Lord, at the Brockville General Hospital on Friday March 15, 2024. Gordon John Douglas at the age of 87 years. Husband of the late Ruth Douglas and dear father of Richard Douglas (Michele). Also survived by his grandson Kevin (Danielle) and by his great granddaughter Evelyn and by his brother David Douglas. Predeceased by his daughter Mary Elizabeth (Buffy) Douglas, sister Alma Stewart and by his parents Mary and Raymond Douglas.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville, on Monday March 18th from 5-8 p.m. A ceremony celebrating Gordon's life will be held at the Brockville Wesleyan Church on Tuesday March 19th at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Olivet Cemetery, Seeley's Bay. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brockville Wesleyan Church, The Gideon Bible Society or the Charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
