Linda Earlene Medlock, 72, of Mulberry, AR passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at a local hospital. She was a caregiver by nature and an assistant pastor at Oak Bower/ M.O.D. Church in Mulberry. Linda was born February 20, 1952 in Mulberry to the late Elmer Pete and Ora Mae (Meadows) Higgins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Pastor Aaron “Bubba” Medlock; sister, Wanda Morse and brother, Billy Earl Higgins.

Linda loved her dogs, playing the piano, singing and her Branson getaways, but more than anything else, she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were the light of her life.

Funeral service will be 10 AM Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment at New Cemetery to follow under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

Survivors include her son, Jeff Brown and wife Stephanie of Ozark; grandchildren, Megan Reeves and husband Wyatt, Todd Brown and Kaitlynn Brown, London King and Derek Morland and Lexi Jones and husband Dillon; great grandchildren, Haleigh Reeves, Baby Brown, Ryker Morland, Dawson Jones and Rylie Jones; sister, Margaret McCabe; brothers, Don Higgins and Harold Higgins.

Pallbearers will be Todd Brown, Wyatt Reeves, Dillon Jones, Michael Medlock, Mike Martin and Ronnie McCollum. Honorary pallbearers will be the congregation of Oak Bower/M.O.D. Church.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Ocker Chapel of Alma, 917 Hwy 64 E., Alma, AR.
