Daniel Hurt
<p>Daniel Hurt, age 53, of Richlands, Virginia, passed away Thursday (March 14, 2024) in Tazewell County, Virginia. Born May 25, 1970 in Richlands, Virginia, he was a son of Clarence “Tex” Hurt, Jr. and the late Patricia Lee Fields Hurt. He was of the Primitive Baptist faith. He had been employed as a pipe liner, but had a true passion for caring for animals. </p><p>In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Otis and Ruth Fields; his paternal grandparents, Georgia Hill Hurt, Clarence Hurt, Sr. and Sylvia Hurt.</p><p>Survivors, in addition to his father, include his sister, Ruthie Seale and husband, Michael and brother, David Hurt; one niece, Lauren Seale; girlfriend, Amy Barton and several aunts, uncles and cousins. </p><p>Funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon Monday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Larry Blevins and Elder John Fields officiating. Interment will follow in the White Rose Cemetery at Drill, Virginia.</p><p>Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers. </p><p>The family will receive friends at Honaker Funeral Home from 11 AM until Noon Monday.</p><p><br></p>Obituary
