<p>Michelle “Shelly” Padilla, beautiful daughter, best sister, and perfect friend, departed from this world on March 13, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, generosity, and laughter that will forever echo in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Born on November 14, 2002, Michelle graced the world with her presence, her wild curls, and her dazzling smile, bringing joy to all who crossed her path.</p><p><br></p><p>Michelle's adventurous spirit and her car, Petey the Pontiac, led her to explore the wonders of the world through travel, her laughter ringing out in every new destination. Her infectious humor and fierce determination endeared her to all who knew her, earning her a place as the cherished best friend of her mother, Angel Helck Padilla, and sunshine of her father, Nelson Padilla.</p><p><br></p><p>A lover of dogs, rubber ducks and Disney movies, Michelle's playful spirit illuminated even the darkest of days. She showered her loved ones with unconditional love and unwavering support. She never judged others, never held a grudge, and practiced forgiveness.</p><p><br></p><p>She was an artist, a fashionista, a foodie, a photographer, a singer, a dancer, and a sneaker head. </p><p><br></p><p>In Michelle's passing, she is welcomed with love by family who have gone before her, including her grandmothers Amazing Grace and MammaMia Fife, her cousin Jason, "Daddy Eddie", “Grandpa” Emil, and “Aunt” Joanne. While her physical presence may be gone, her memory lives on in the hearts of her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Eric Oquendo; her grandfather, Plumo; her aunts and uncles; her many cousins; extended family; and countless friends whose lives she touched with her kindness and warmth.</p><p><br></p><p>As we mourn her loss, let us also celebrate the beautiful soul that Michelle was and the profound impact she had on all who knew her. Though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit will forever guide us, a beacon of love and light in our lives. Rest in peace, sweet Michelle, knowing that you were loved beyond measure and that your memory will live on for eternity. We will see you in every butterfly and in every rainbow.</p>
