LINDA KAY MOATES, age 68 of Verbena, passed away suddenly on March 15, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Cullman, AL on February 5, 1956; the daughter of the late Crockett Waller and the late Lennie Jo Hall Waller.

She was a homemaker and mother.

She is survived by: Son, Jesse Moates of Verbena; Son, Jacob Moates of Verbena; Sister, Doris Waller of LaGrange, GA; Brother, Jody Waller of Verbena; and Brother, Charles Waller of Calera.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, James Carl Moates.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 2:00pm from Floyd Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held one hour prior at the church.

Burial will follow in the Verbena Cemetery in Verbena, AL.
