Margo M. Robson Obituary

Our beloved mother, Margo M. Robson, age 90, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2024, at Atria Northpoint, Roswell GA after a brief illness.  Margo was born on September 26, 1933, in NYC and lived in Manlius NY for over 40 years before relocating to Clearwater FL.  Though she embraced Clearwater, she always considered Manlius her true home, cherishing the many friendships she cultivated over the years, particularly with the students and staff at FM High School, where she dedicated 28 years of service in the Records Office.  In 2020, she moved to Roswell GA to reside with her son and be closer to her beloved grand & great grandchildren.

Margo was renowned for her "gift of gab", infectious smile, and proud Irish heritage.  Those who knew her were well aware of her unwavering admiration for Engelbert Humperdinck, a passion that spanned over 50 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Robson (Scott) Burr of Cicero, and son Brian Robson & predeceased by her loving daughter-in-law Mary Robson, of Roswell GA. Margo was adored by her four grandchildren, Morgan Burr of Liverpool NY, Meghan (Corey) Davidson, and Patrick (Kendra) & Daniel Robson of Atlanta GA area. Affectionately known as Nana and GG (Gorgeous Grandma) Nana by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren Cole, Parker, Lizzie, and Brooks, she leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter and memories.

A funeral mass will be held at 3pm Tuesday, March 19 at St Ann's Church in Manlius NY, followed by a celebration of her life at "The Beef" in Manlius (aka Scenic Root), a place she held dear. All who knew her are invited to join in raising a glass in her honor.
