Gerald Eugene Gambucci, 86, of Nashua, New Hampshire formerly of Arlington, MA. passed away peacefully at Fairview Nursing Home in Hudson, New Hampshire on Wednesday, March 13 th 2024.


Born and raised in Hibbing, Minnesota to the late Frank and Vioardo Gambucci (Posseic) and Stepmother Ilene Gambucci (Richmond).


Shortly after graduating from Hibbing High School in Hibbing, MN Gerald joined the United States Navy proudly serving his country as a Boilerman Petty Officer 2nd Class for 4 yrs. After receiving his Honorable discharge in November of 1958 he diligently worked and owned Crimson Cleaners in Cambridge, MA. for well over 45 years until his retirement.


Gerald met the love of his life Cynthia Gambucci (Buda) at a dance club in Boston in 1958 and they were happily married in October of 1959. He learned at an early age the value of a strong work ethic and the importance of perseverance and tirelessly worked 60 to 80 hours a week. Gerald was a dedicated husband and Father to his children, he loved being at his summer home on Lake Winnipesaukee and being out on his boat! He had a great love for dogs, and in his spare time he enjoyed traveling, square dancing and many other hobbies.


Predeceased by his brother Ronald and his wife Judith of Hibbing, Minnesota and his son- in-law Timothy M. Morris of Waltham.


Gerald is survived by his loving and devoted spouse of 64 years, Cynthia A. Gambucci (Cammarata), his children Darlene A. Gambucci of Belmont, MA. and Frank T. Gambucci and his wife Cheryl (Hamel) of Billerica, MA; his grandchildren Trevor M. Morris (Kristen) and Wayne Z. Gambucci, In Addition, his beloved sister Roberta and her husband Rudy Berthold of Arizona, his sister-in-law Barbara A. Cammarata of South Carolina, his brother-in-law Michael and his wife Gail Cammarata, of Arlington, MA, Anthony Cammarata of Arlington, MA., numerous nieces and nephews that meant the world to him as well as, extended family, Amy M. Morris and John T. Morris (Colleen), Madison and Johnny Morris.


We will deeply miss your laughter and your smile but your love will remain in our hearts forever.


Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to gather and remember the friendship, laughter and love he shared with us all, during visiting hours on Saturday, March 23 rd from 12pm – 1:30 pm in The Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco and Sons Memorial Chapels located, 773 Moody Street Waltham, MA. A celebration of Gerald’s life will begin at 1:30 pm with The United States Navy Honors. Interment will be held privately for the family. Parking Attendants will be on duty.
