<p>Mark Wayne Swann, born in Dallas, Texas, on January 5, 1960, peacefully passed away on March 14, 2024. He was the son of Dorman W. Swann and Mary Shelton Swann. Mark was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many.</p><p><br></p><p>Mark graduated from East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas, and embarked on a fulfilling career with Sears service repair, dedicating 22 years of his life to his work.</p><p><br></p><p>A man of simple pleasures, Mark found joy in grilling, smoking meats, and relishing the outdoors on the Ranch. In his youth, he was an avid skier and actively engaged with church youth groups, where he also enjoyed teaching Sunday School.</p><p><br></p><p>Mark's commitment to his faith led him to the Wood County Cowboy Church, where he found solace and community until his illness.</p><p><br></p><p>He was devoted to his family, cherishing moments spent with his wife, Kimberly Sipe Swann, his son Dustin Swann and daughter-in-law Julie of Rockwall, and his daughter Laci Swann of Frisco. Mark is also survived by his father, Dorman W. Swann, his nephew Tye Wreyford and niece-in-law Elizabeth of Wellington, Ohio, and seven adoring grandchildren: Haley, Calista, Austin, Carsyn, Jack, Caitlyn, and Camryn.</p><p><br></p><p>Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Swann, and his brother, Matthew Swann.</p><p><br></p><p>Mark's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His warmth, kindness, and love for his family and friends will be forever remembered and cherished.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
