<p>Thomas A. Montini, 72, of Naugatuck, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2024 surrounded by his family after a long battle with cancer. He was born October 23, 1951, a son to the late Godfrey and Maria Montini. He was the husband of 49 years to Shaune Montini, the love of his life. </p><p>Tom was an avid sports fan, his favorites being the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. He loved going on vacation with his wife Shaune, playing cards, going to the casino, and was always good for a dry joke. Family was very important to him and he cherished time spent with them. One of his greatest joys was watching his grandchildren grow up. </p><p>Tom is survived by his loving wife Shaune, his children: Christopher (Danielle) Montini, Jeremy (Sarah) Montini, Jeffrey Montini, and Sarah Montini, his 10 grandchildren: Jared, Jordan, Ryan, Rylie, Madeline, Anthony, Nicholas, Matthew, Sophia, and Jack, and his sister, Jeannie (Brion) Geter. </p><p>Calling hours for Tom will be held Friday, March 22, 2024 from 10 to 11:30am at Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 122 Waterbury Rd., Prospect, CT 06712. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:30am.
