<p>Moli Tafea Taufa Talakai, 76, of Lahaina, Maui, passed away in Maui Memorial Medical Center on March 3, 2024. She was born in Tokomololo, Tongatapu, Tonga on June 14, 1947 and raised in Petani, ‘Eua, Tonga where she resided until 1981 and later moved to Lahaina, Maui, Hawai’i.</p><p><br></p><p>She worked as a Housekeeper at Embassy Suites Ka’anapali for 32 years until she retired in December 2017 at the age of 70.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her daughter, Siniva Tuavao-Tupou; Son-in-law, Tupou Tuavao-Tupou; granddaughters, Mele Filiai, Molly and Lavinia Tuavao-Tupou; Siblings, Taatimoa Tolu, Tauleva Tafea, Saumahe Tafea, Fipe Afu, Velonika Teu, Lavila Piutau Tongi, and Vaiangina Tafea.</p><p><br></p><p>Moli is preceded in death by her Husband, Langatoi Taufa Talakai; Son, Tou’anga Taufa Talakai; Daughter, ‘Olivia Taufa Talakai; Parents; Sione and Sanipepa Tafea; Brother, Vaimoana Tafea; Sisters, Heimoana Tafea and Maama Tafea.</p><p><br></p><p>Services will be held on Friday, March 22 at 5:30pm-10:30pm, and Saturday, March 23 at 7:30am-10:30am at Honolua United Methodist Church. </p><p><br></p><p>Burial to follow on Saturday March 23 at 12:30pm at Maui Memorial Park, Garden of Meditation, Wailuku.</p>Obituary
