WENGHOFER, SUSAN MARIE

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan Marie Wenghofer (1949-2024). She passed peacefully, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family on March 13, 2024.

Susan was lucky to have found a community of friends among fellow knitters and quilters while living the final years of her life in the Brockville/ Prescott area. She always found joy being outside and near the water, spending time with her friends and family at the beach or the cottage. Her family will always cherish the memories made with her and greatly admire the strength and courage she displayed over the course of her life.

Susan is survived by her loving husband Hermann with whom she shared 57 years, their son Calvyn, their daughter-in-law Kristen, and their two beautiful granddaughters Jessica and Alysha - with whom she was very proud - and her sister Elaine Dittmer.

Family and friends may gather for a Celebration of Susan`s Life at MACKAY Funeral Home 416 Dibble St West, Prescott, on Friday, March 22nd, 2024 from 2-4 pm. Interment in Blue Church Cemetery at a later date.
