Warner G. Reno, 85, Of New Castle passed away the morning of March 15, 2024 at Carriage Manor.

Born in New Castle on October 31, 1938, Warner was the son of the late Ralph Emerson and Bernice Myers Reno.

On January 30, 1960 Warner married his beloved wife, the former Norma L. Crowl. She preceded him in death on November 3, 2021.

Warner had retired from Ironworkers Local 207 as an Iron worker.

He was a graduate of Laurel High School. He had proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army.

Warner enjoyed golfing, motorcycles and being in the outdoors going hunting and fishing. A loving father and grandfather Warner’s greatest joy was the time he spent with his family.

Warner is survived by his children, Suzy Gunnels-Slagle (Richard) and Mark Reno and his fiancé, Chriss, one grandchild, Amber Gunnels and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Warner was preceded in death by his son, Warner Reno, Jr., his brothers, Gene and Ron Reno and his sister, Beverly Grossman.

Visitation will be on Thursday 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Bill Hunley will officiate.
