It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Antonietta, a devoted Catholic Nonna and Casa Linga She has peacefully reunited with her beloved spouse Biase in Heaven. Antonietta was a loving mother to Gio (Anna), Maria (Richard), and Addolorata, and a cherished Nonna to her adored grandchildren Bill, Carl, Sabrina, André, Eric, Monet, Isabel and Grace.

Nonna will be fondly remembered by all who knew her for her passion for sushi and cooking, especially her famous tomato sauce, lasagna, veal parmesan, pizza, ice berg salad and apple pie. She took great joy in preparing delicious meals for her grandchildren, showcasing her talent for making homemade sugo.

Mike hand delivered her favourite mortadella and head cheese cold cuts right up until her last day with us. Maggie’s visits always included lot’s of laughter. Nonna’s loved trout fishing at Glen Haffy Lake with Nonno Biagio. Her loyal chihuahua companion Jack Frost will forever hold a special bark in our hearts. Nonna will be reunited with her late siblings Elena, Vince, and Gaetano, in eternal peace.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to her special caregivers Bibi, Leriza and Nurse Practitioner. Andrew, as well as the Etobicoke Medical Centre and Family Health Team for their exceptional care, patience and support. To those who knew Nonna, they knew the kind of firecracker that she was, leaving behind a legacy of lots of hugs & kisses, love, warmth, and unforgettable memories. May her soul rest in peace. Amen.
