<p>Marjorie R. Green O'Connor, 76, of Erie, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Walnut Creek Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Erie on July 17, 1947, a daughter of the late Robert Green and Marguerite "Peg" Cantor Cochran.</p><p><br></p><p>She graduated from Academy High School, Class of 1965. Marjorie worked as a Molder for many years at Carlisle Engineering until her retirement in 2003.</p><p><br></p><p>Marjorie was a lifelong member at Polish Falcons Club. She enjoyed going to casinos, jigsaw puzzles, bowling, and watching General Hospital.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Vincent O'Connor; her sister, Sandra Rekitt; her brother, Kenny Cochran; and her brother-in-law, Richard O'Connor.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her husband, James O'Connor; her son, Patrick O'Connor of Erie; her granddaughter, Alyssa O'Connor of Erie; and numerous nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt and Son Funeral Home, Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, Pa 16504.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude at stjude.org or Shriner's Childrens Hospital at 1645 W. 8th St., Erie, Pa 16505. </p>
