Ecclesiastes 12:7 " Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it"

Mr. Wilber Ray Lewis, 88, was born on May 31, 1935, to the late Edward Lewis and Ophelia Logan Lewis. He departed this life on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Autumn Care, Statesville, NC.

Wilber was a veteran of the United States Air Force and had a long career as a general contractor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Claudene Summers Lewis.

He is survived by his daughters Endia Lewis of Raleigh, Condrea (Byron) Corley of Mansfield, OH, grandson Rashod Cantrell and great-grandson Xavier Cantrell also of Mansfield, Ohio. And his brother Glenn (Denise) Lewis of London, UK.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for a later date.
