It is with great sadness that the family of Anthony Thomas Martino announces his passing. Tom was born January 25, 1943 in Poughkeepsie, New York to his parents Anthony and Bessie Martino. He attended Poughkeepsie schools.


Tom was predeceased by his brother Ronald Martino and son Doug Lowery. He is survived by his wife Carol Martino, Son Thomas Martino and wife Jodi. Grandchildren Samantha Eilenberger and husband Jim of Windham, New York. Brittanee Lowery of Hyde Park, New York. Great grandchildren Jacob, Haley, Emily & Michael Eilenberger. Sister-in-law‘s Joan Biszick, Nancy Spilbor, and Karen Martino.


Tommy’s hobbies included classic muscle cars, car shows, collecting antique guns, fishing, riding snowmobile‘s and target shooting at the Millerton Rod and gun club. He enjoyed so much being with his family, friends, and playing cards with his great grandson Jacob. Tommy built a 1948 jeep pickup and loved going to car shows with it. He called it “The Willy.” Tom was a lifetime member of the Millerton Rod and Gun Club. In 1973 Tom started his own roofing business called Martino roofing Inc. which became very successful.


Calling Hours will be Tuesday, March 19, 2024, 10AM-12Noon at the Wm. G. Miller & Son FH, Inc., 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Services will follow at 12Noon in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the family plot in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
