John J. Maiorelli, 91, of Roselle Park passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 14, 2024.

Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park on Monday, March 18, 2024, a Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am in Church of the Assumption, Roselle Park. Please be at the funeral home at 8:45am. Interment will follow to St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.

The visitation will be on Sunday from 2 to 5pm.

Born in Elizabeth, John lived most of his life in Roselle Park.

He was a machine supervisor for Air Tron, Division of Litton in Morristown for many years, retiring at 47 years of age.

The simple things in life brought him the greatest of joy and satisfaction. He enjoyed time with his family, phone calls and visits from his friends, who always went out of their way to make him feel loved and special. John will leave a lasting impression on all who knew him, and his absence will always be felt by those who loved him.

John is predeceased by his beloved wife, Santa (nee: Mossucco) Maiorelli, and John J, Maiorelli, Jr.

Surviving are three loving children, Joseph Maiorelli, Michael Maiorelli and his wife Barbara, and Diane D’Aloia and her husband Harry, six adored grandchildren, Kimberly, Joseph, Lauren, Melissa, Bridgette, and Gina, and a cherished great-grandson, Roman.
