Services for Vera Lea Broadway DuBois will be at 2PM, Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Montgomery United Pentecostal Church, Montgomery, LA. Visitation will be from 11AM until time of service at 2PM, Saturday, March 16th at the church. Interment will be at New Hope Cemetery, Montgomery, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA.

Vera Lea Broadway DuBois, 92, of Montgomery, LA passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024 in Colfax, LA. Mother was devoted to God first and her family. She was a Proverbs 31 woman. Mom’s love and faith in Christ was evident til her last day.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ora Dee DuBois; daughters, Shirley D. Chelette and Sandra Kay DuBois; grandchildren, Sharanda Perrine and Jerron Waxley; parents, Willis Edward Broadway and Alma Horn Broadway.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Thomas A. Chelette, Kenneth DuBois (Pat) and Willia DuBois (Sybil); daughters, Brenda Mullen (Dale) and Kelly Waxley (Chuck); 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Heath Waxley, Dewayne DuBois, Jonathon Chelette, Cole Bettes, Randy Broadway and Preston Durr.
