Obituary

Our beloved husband, father & uncle Howard Woodburn passed away peacefully at the Milton District Hospital, March 12, 2024

at the age of 82. He is survived by his wife Patricia, son Kevin (Ashley) and sister Jill (Gary).

He was born in Toronto, Ontario on May 12, 1941 and his childhood was spent there. Many years were spent in Mississauga, Ontario and eventually spent most recent years in Milton, Ontario. He worked hard to support his family. He loved spending time with family and friends. His summer home in Cape Breton was his pride and joy and he loved to speak about it with anyone who would listen. He loved to make people laugh and was always there to support his extended family.

Howard befriended and worked with some of Patricia’s siblings, who introduced him to Patricia which led to their

long and happy marriage.

The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to many of the amazing staff at Allendale Long Term Care, where he spent the last 6 months of his life.

The viewing and funeral will be held at the McKersie & Early Funeral Home at 114 Main St East, Milton, Ontario on

Sunday, March 17 2024. There will be a viewing at 1:30pm until 3:30pm and the funeral service will follow.

All friends and family are welcome to join us in celebrating Howard’s passion for the Toronto Maple Leafs and are invited to wear

any Leafs attire you would like (no obligation).

The family asks that donations to The Willow Foundation be made instead of flowers or other gifts.

(Please see the donation link below)

This will go directly to The Life Enrichment Team at Allendale LTC, as well as the adult day program, Milton Place,

that Howard attended prior to Allendale LTC.
