Judy Feret, 70, of Canton, CT (previously of New Preston, CT) passed away on March 5, 2024, after a 40-year battle with a lung condition called LAM. Judy is survived by her three sisters, Susan Feret (and the late Brandon Clarke) of Canton, CT, Lisa Feret-Seymore and her husband Francis of Roxbury, CT and Robin Feret of Woodbury, CT.

Judy graduated from Washington, CT High School and the University of Rochester, New York with a BA in Biological Sciences. Judy proceeded to the University of Bridgeport, CT for her RN, returning to the U. of Rochester for her Master’s in Nursing.

Judy taught nursing at Rainbow’s Children Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, and St. Francis Hospital in Elmira, New York. She was a nurse manager at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, CT, then at UCONN Medical Center in Farmington and lastly at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford.

Judy had many hobbies: knitting, crocheting, baking, reading, shopping on QVC and her love of Shiba Inu puppies.
