BANGOR, David "Deke" (Oliver) Hardy, 24, passed away unexpectedly on March 8, 2024 in Bangor. He was born on November 10, 1999, in Houlton the son of David Boles and Nancy Hardy.

Deke liked tinkering on vehicles, fishing, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, building tree houses out in the woods, and anything to do with the outdoors. He was an adventurous sweetheart who would give you the shirt off of his back. He loved his family dearly and was happiest when they were all together.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy Hardy of Bridgewater, his father David Boles of Charleston, ME, his siblings, Isaiah Oliver of Oakfield, Whitney Shannon of Houlton, Téa Page of Alberta Canada, and Titus Boles of Charleston, ME.,his niece and nephew Octavia and Lucas Oliver, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held at Bowers Funeral Home on Monday March 18, 2024. Calling hours will be from 12:00 - 1:00 PM with a Celebration of Life being held at 1:00 PM with the elders of the Maliseet Tribe conducting. A time of fellowship will be held after the services.
