<p>Philip Roland Lane went to Heaven on March 13, 2024 at his home in Bangor, ME. He was born February 28,1958 in Bangor and was lovingly raised by his grandparents, Dellis and Phyllis Carlow. </p><p>He graduated from Hermon High School and worked for many years at the IGA coffee shop and several other job sites with Phoenix Industries. When he retired, he joined his friends at Penobscot Valley Industries and Ralph Leek Elders. While at Program, Phil enjoyed spending time with his friends, especially his long time girlfriend, Judy Baker. He enjoyed genealogy, bowling, a love of history, WW1 and WW2 which he often portrayed in his artwork.</p><p>Philip was a lifelong Special Olympian winning many medals and ribbons of which he was extremely proud. Phil enjoyed traveling and seeing new things. He traveled to Florida, Boston, and went on many other adventures with his friends. Philip will be lovingly missed by his MERT Enterprises’ family and friends, many of whom enjoyed the pleasure of his company for 24 years. He has left many of us with memories that will last a lifetime.</p><p> A memorial service will be held 11AM, March 26th, 2024 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor. A reception will follow at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center Street, Bangor. Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com.</p>
