Liudmila V. (Kutyrina) Smirnova, age 96, a resident of Dracut, passed away peacefully at Lowell General Hospital on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Alexandr Smirnov with whom she enjoyed 49 years of marriage until his passing in 1996.

She was born in Vichuga, Ivanovo Oblast, Russia on August 19, 1927 and was the daughter of the late Vassily Kutyrin and Anna Kutyrina.

Liudmila was the kindest, nicest person who dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her patience was unwavering and her family was the center of her world. She was an angel on earth and will be dearly missed by those who loved her.

Liudmila is survived by her daughters Galina and Irina Smirnova; her grandchildren, Katerina Doudkin and Alexander Smirnou; and her great grandchildren, Alex, Lizzy, Julia, and Matthew.

Funeral services and Interment will be held privately.
