With sorrow the family announces the peaceful passing of Mrs. Yvonne Pollard at the age of 89 years. Mrs. Pollard passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 12, 2024 at the Tri- Town Extendicare with her loving family by her side.

She was born July 20, 1934 in York, Ontario to the late Mary (nee Stokes) and to the late Arthur Woodford. Mrs. Pollard will be remembered for her love of cooking and baking...no one ever left the house with an empty stomach. She will also be remembered for love of fishing and gardening but most importantly we will always admire her ability of remembering every single member of her family's birthdays. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Her presence will be sorely missed.

Mrs. Pollard is predeceased by her husband Byron Pollard, by her siblings John Woodford, Bob Woodford, Penny Simmons, by her grandson Stanley Britt, by her granddaughter Heidi St-Don and by her great-granddaughter Mya Pollard. Mrs. Pollard is survived by her loving children Judy and her husband Mike Bazinet, Wayne and his wife Lyn Pollard, Susan and her husband Albert Sopha, Laurie and her husband Bob Britt, Nancy Pollard, Randy Pollard and Jason and his wife Stacey Pollard. Mrs. Pollard will be remembered by her nineteen grandchildren, her twenty three cherished great grandchildren, by her sister Jeanette Fladgate as well as her extended family members.

We the family, wish to sincerely thank all the staff at the Tri-Town Extendicare Nursing Home for the wonderful care and empathy shown to our mother during her stay there.

The family of the late Yvonne Pollard will receive family and friends at the Buffam Leveille Funeral Home - Haileybury Chapel, on Monday March 18, 2024 beginning at 9:30am. The memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:00am. Memorial contributions to CNIB or to the Diabetes Society will be gratefully acknowledged buy the family.
