Marjorie Kent Jones
<p>Marjorie C. Jones of Mt. Laurel, NJ, died on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her cherished family.</p><p><br></p><p>Born and raised in New York City, Marjorie had been a resident of Mount Laurel for over 30 years. She earned her associate degree from Queens College.</p><p><br></p><p>Marjorie was a strong determined woman of faith. She was dedicated to her family and loved a good story. On March 5th, Marjorie and her family welcomed the first of a new generation with the birth of her great-great-grandchild, a healthy baby boy named Silas Prince Huang.</p><p><br></p><p>Marjorie was the daughter of the late McKinley and Roberta Logan Cardwell. In addition to her great-great-grandson, Marjorie is also survived by her children Algerlynn Prince-Gayle of the Bronx, New York; Sandra Jones of Manhattan, New York and Jonathan Jones and his life partner Robert Heuer of Stockton, NJ; her grandchildren Heather Clarke and her husband Norman, Fleming Prince and Nigel Prince; and her great-grandchildren Nicole Clarke-Huang and her husband Sunny Huang, Kayla Clarke, Kendal Clarke, Jade Prince and Sierra Prince.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral services will be private and under the direction of the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, Lambertville, New Jersey.</p>Obituary
