<p>Robert “Bob” Leo Hansen, 65, of Ottumwa, died at 2:31 p.m. March 12, 2024 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.<br></p><p>He was born March 20, 1958 in Ottumwa to Donald and Anna Warburton Hansen.</p><p>A 1976 graduate of Ottumwa High School, Bob had worked for the Ottumwa Courier delivering newspapers and for F.W. Woolworths. He enjoyed watching TV, science fiction and putting puzzles together.</p><p>Surviving is his sister, Maryanna (Gary) Lanigan of Ottumwa; brother, Donald (Jayne) Hansen of Ludington, MI; aunt, Cecelia Mesecher of Pleasantville; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.</p><p>He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Donna Chesnut; brother-in-law, Gaylen Chesnut.</p><p>His body has been cremated. Graveside services and inurnment will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery at a later date.</p><p>Memorials may be made to Heartland Humane Society.</p><p>Reece Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.</p><p><br></p><p></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>Obituary
