<p>Marilyn Kovach, 89, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024.&nbsp; Born in Akron, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Vernon G. and Geraldine Bower Holtz and was the Owner/Operator of Mayberry’s in Springdale. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is in charge of arrangements. </p><p>Surviving are her son, Vernon Kovach (Irene) and daughter, Pamela Williams (Rhett Munson); sister, Phyllis Ann Cooper; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles “Chuck” J. Kovach.&nbsp; </p><p>&nbsp; </p>

Obituary

Marilyn Kovach, 89, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024.  Born in Akron, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Vernon G. and Geraldine Bower Holtz and was the Owner/Operator of Mayberry’s in Springdale. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Surviving are her son, Vernon Kovach (Irene) and daughter, Pamela Williams (Rhett Munson); sister, Phyllis Ann Cooper; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles “Chuck” J. Kovach.
