<p>Maryanne Elizabeth McCarthy passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 67 years old. </p><p><br></p><p>Maryanne was born in Chelsea, MA., on February 3, 1957. Maryanne lived most of her life in Revere, MA and recently relocated to Huntsville, AL.</p><p>She was the daughter of the late Susan and Duane Olson and William McCarthy.</p><p>Maryanne was a loving sister, aunt, cousin and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. </p><p>She was the dear sister of Dianne Rogers of Huntsville, AL., and Cindy DeSimone of Saugus, MA., and the cherished aunt of Zach Rogers and his wife, Taylor of Athens, AL., and Nicole DeSimone of Saugus, MA. </p><p>Maryanne loved her local Boston sports team and enjoyed shopping and socializing. Maryanne had an infectious smile and greeted everyone with loving hugs. She loved her cats who miss her belly rubs and pampering.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral Services and interment for Maryanne will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Animal Rescue League of Boston. Animal Rescue League of Boston, c/o Development 10 Anna’s Place, Dedham, MA 02026</p>

Maryanne was born in Chelsea, MA., on February 3, 1957. Maryanne lived most of her life in Revere, MA and recently relocated to Huntsville, AL.

She was the daughter of the late Susan and Duane Olson and William McCarthy.

Maryanne was a loving sister, aunt, cousin and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
