<p>Sherry Ann Cruse, age 63, of Cleveland, Alabama, passed away on March 10, 2024. She was born on March 22, 1960, in Cullman, Alabama, to the late Raymond Vasser and Irene Dunkin Weaver. Sherry was known for her love of planting flowers and shrubs in her yard, her fondness for yard sales and thrift stores, her adoration of Mickey Mouse, and her passion for jewelry. Above all, she cherished her family and grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p> Sherry is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Donald Cruse; her son Matt Champion (Crystal); her daughter Lori Champion; her brother Rodney Hardin; her sisters Annette Scott, Tabatha Rice (James); 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other family members. She was predeceased by her father Raymond Vasser and her mother Irene Dunkin Weaver, her brother Jack Vasser.</p><p><br></p><p> The visitation for Sherry will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 1 pm until 2 pm at Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland, AL. The funeral service will follow at 2 pm, and interment will take place at Union Grove Cemetery in Hayden, AL.</p><p><br></p><p> In memory of Sherry Ann Cruse, may she rest in peace.</p>
