Ann (Bowles) Murphy

Of Waltham, passed away peacefully on Monday March 11, 2024 at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge at the age of 88.

Born on September 24, 1935 in Cambridge; Ann was raised in Cambridge and had resided in Waltham for the majority of her life.

Ann had been employed in Customer service with BayBank and Bank of America.

She had a strong devotion to her Catholic faith and volunteered in as many ways as she could at Saint Mary's Parish in Waltham over the years while living at the Saint Mary's Apartments.

Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband Paul F. Murphy in 2012.

She is survived by her devoted & loving sons Paul F. Murphy Jr. and his wife Joy Marie of Woburn and Michael J. Murphy of Boston; her cherished granddaughters Jennifer and Melissa Murphy; and dear brother Jack Bowles of Melrose and the late Mike Bowles and Marilyn Sheehan. In addition, she is survived by many nieces & nephews.

Those who wish to pay their respects to Ann and her family can do so in the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Tuesday, March 19th from 4PM until 8PM. Family and Friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Ann's life to remember the love and friendship she shared with others at a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 280 Main Street, WOBURN on Wednesday morning March 20th at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts Veterans National Cemetery in Bourne on Wednesday at 1:30 pm.
