In Loving Memory of Maryanne Zelenevich-Troia

With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Maryanne Zelenevich-Troia, a cherished daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and friend. Born to Carole Freitag and Nicholas Zelenevich, and beloved sibling to Bill and Janet Zelenevich. She leaves behind a legacy of love, elegance, and unwavering courage.

Growing up amidst the serene beauty of Carversville, PA, Maryanne was a true farm girl at heart. She found solace in the company of farm animals and the vast expanse of open land. Her childhood on the farm shaped her into the strong, resilient woman she became.

Maryanne possessed a natural athleticism that shone brightly her frequent runs and in sports like basketball and volleyball. Doylestown held a special place in her heart, where she lived and thrived for many years. She also loved the warmth of the Florida. It was a place she found peace and joy and it came with sunshine that truly captured her spirit.

With intelligence and courage as her guiding lights, Maryanne fearlessly pursued her dreams. Her passion for cosmetology and hairstyling was unmatched, leading her to establish the beloved Chameleon Hair Salon on September 30, 1988. As the founder and driving force behind the salon, she touched the lives of many, sharing her talent with grace and generosity. She ran the company into the late 90s and proudly cut the hair of stars like Matt Damon and Brendan Fraser.

Maryanne was a devoted mother above all else, finding boundless joy in her twin boys, Alexio and Matteo Troia. She poured her heart and soul into nurturing and supporting them, ensuring they had every opportunity to flourish.

Her legacy extends beyond her family and friends; she leaves behind a trail of kindness and inspiration. Maryanne’s impact on the world was profound, from the strands of hair she styled to the hearts she touched along the way.

Though she may be gone from our sight, Maryanne will forever remain in our hearts, a beacon of strength and love. May her spirit continue to guide and inspire us as we carry her memory forward.

Rest in peace, dear Maryanne Zelenevich-Troia. You will be deeply missed, but your light will shine on eternally.
