Francis G. Tressler, 79, of Fountain Hill died Sunday, March 10, 2024 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill.  He was the husband of Karen A. (McCandless) Tressler who died January 13, 2024.  Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Elroy and Elaine (Hoffman) Tressler.  After graduation from Fountain Hill High School in 1964, Francis served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.  After arriving back home, he was a general foreman at Bethlehem Steel for 35 years before retiring in the late 1990’s.  He was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Fountain Hill.  Francis was a former volunteer for the Fountain Hill Fire Company and also had coached Little League Baseball in Fountain Hill.  He enjoyed hunting and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies and Penn State fan.  Francis was a faithful blood donor with Miller-Keystone Blood Center.

Survivors: Sons, Adam K. Tressler and his wife Gabriela of Royersford, Mark F. Tressler and his wife Jessica of Estero, FL; sisters, Pauline wife of Dale Benner of Hellertown, Dolores Wachter of Willingboro, NJ; beloved grandchildren, Elias and Ander.
