Grant was fortunate to live his whole life on one country block. He was born on the Chambers family farm and started working on the farm at a young age. In June of 2023, Grant and Beulah moved to Caressant Care, Harriston... still on Hwy 9.

Through the years Grant and Marlene found joy while curling, card playing, and dancing. He and Beulah continued to enjoy cards with friends and attending dances for many years. He loved interacting with and teasing his and Beulah's grandchildren and great-grandchildren whenever he could. Grant was a faithful member of Harriston United Church and was always willing to help with activities there. He was known in the community as a kind, caring, thoughtful, and generous man. He will be missed by many.
