Richard Elton Campbell, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on March 11, 2024, in Richland, Washington, at the age of 78. Born on March 17, 1945, in Shelley, Idaho, Richard was the son of Alma Lenrie Campbell and Emily Campbell.

Richard was a proud alumnus of Idaho Falls High School, graduating with the Class of 1963. Following his education, he embarked on a fulfilling career as an auto mechanic, a profession that he pursued with passion and dedication.

In 1977, Richard moved from Utah and made the Tricities his home, where he established roots and became an integral part of the community. He was known for his exceptional skills as an auto mechanic, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and customers alike.

Outside of his profession, Richard was a man of simple pleasures. He had a deep love for hunting, spending countless hours in the great outdoors with his dogs. Richard had a fondness for the silver screen, particularly for the timeless classics featuring John Wayne and other westerns. His love for these movies was a testament to his appreciation for the values of courage, integrity, and loyalty.

Above all, Richard cherished his family. He was a devoted husband to Suzanne M Campbell and a loving father to his children, Jodi Comstock, Ronn Campbell, Shauna Joseph, and Kristie Campbell. His grandchildren, Cassie Comstock, Alexis Comstock, Chase Joseph, Micah Campbell, and Jackson Campbell, brought immeasurable joy and pride to his life.

Richard Elton Campbell will be remembered for his kindness, his generosity, and his unwavering love for his family. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
