Bernadette Madeline Eyerman Obituary

Bernadette Madeline Eyerman, beloved daughter of Jesse Eyerman and Gabriela Montoya-Eyerman and sister of Keeli, Ian, Naomi, and Anneliese, left us to be with the angels on March 9th at home in Trescott, Maine.

Bernadette was born on August 30, 2012 in Brunswick, Maine. She most loved spending time with her family, hiking in the woods, swimming in the lakes, and exploring the beaches. Bee loved to draw, paint, felt wool, bake, and play video games. Bernadette was a child with a beautiful soul and only had kindness for the people she encountered in her life.

Although Bernadette was only eleven years old, she possessed a wisdom beyond her years and shared these words before her passing:

“Don't take things for granted, like being able to move your body, being able to eat, being able to walk, draw, and play with friends.”

“Get off of your devices.”

“Enjoy that you can eat good food.”

“Spend more time with your family and people you love.”

“Be grateful for every day.”

A mass for Bernadette will be held on Saturday, March 16 at 10am at Holy Name of Jesus Church in Machias, ME, followed by a gathering at the Church Hall located at 42 Broadway, Machias, ME. We will gather to share stories of how Bernadette touched our lives and hearts.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Dana-Farber Jimmy Fund Clinic in Boston, The Maine Outdoor School, or the Cobscook Institute Access Fund.
