It is with heavy hearts that the family announces her passing in Sudbury, on Monday, March 11, 2024 at the age of 71 years. Daughter of the late Leo and late Edna (née O’Bunsawin) Martin. Loving wife of 50 years to Marcel Legault. Cherished mother to Julie Marleau (Shaun), Monique Legault (Neil) and Jamie-Lynn Hill (Bob). Beloved grandmother to Drake, Paige, Gavin, Colton and Addison. Dear sister to Roger (Pauline), Jeannine (late Ron), Georgette (Alphège) and late Laurent. Sister-in-law to Claude, Roland, late Albert and late Florian. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Sylvianne was a loved and respected businesswoman for 15 years, Petal Pushers was a creative outlet for all who entered, her encouraging words like, “that’s perfect” or “it’s beautiful” were heard daily. It’s where she taught her daughters patience, enthusiasm and passion. She was a selfless friend to everyone that knew her, lovingly making every occasion special for her family. Sylvianne was the most comfortable and happiest surrounded by her family and friends with so much love to give. Her favorite place in the world was sitting on her beautiful deck looking out at her back yard, which her husband lovingly created for her. It was as beautiful as she was inside and out. The Legault family would like to extend a grateful thank you to the PSW’s and nurses who were more than her caregivers, she considered them friends. Your daily phone calls and visits meant so much. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury, on Sunday, March 17, 2024 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 18 at 10:00 a.m. at Ste-Marguerite D’Youville, Val Thérèse. Donations in her memory can be made by cheque or online to the Maison McCulloch Hospice.

Épouse bien-aimée de Marcel Legault depuis 50 ans. Mère bien-aimée de Julie Marleau (Shaun), Monique Legault (Neil) et Jamie-Lynn Hill (Bob). Grand-mère bien-aimée de Drake, Paige, Gavin, Colton et Addison. Chère soeur de Roger (Pauline), Jeannine (feu Ron), Georgette (Alphège) et feu Laurent. Belle-soeur de Claude, Roland, feu Albert et feu Florian. Elle sera également regrettée par plusieurs neveux, nièces, parents et amis. La famille recevra parents et amis à la Coopérative Funéraire, 222, boul. Lasalle, Sudbury, le dimanche 17 mars 2024 de 18h00 à 21h00. Une messe de funéraire aura lieu le lundi 18 mars à 10h00 à l'église Ste-Marguerite D'Youville, Val Thérèse. Des dons à sa mémoire peuvent être faits par chèque ou en ligne à la Maison McCulloch Hospice.
