<p>Kevin Joseph Wabason, age 47 years passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. Kevin was born on May 19, 1976 in Sioux Lookout, Ontario to parents Paul J. Matinet and Jocelyn L. Wabason. </p><p><br></p><p>Kevin will be lovingly remembered by his parents Paul Matinet and Jocelyn Wabason, by his grandmother Stella Wabason, by his grandfather Joseph Shapwaykeesic, by his brother Emil (Theresa) Wabason, by his uncles Horace, Stanley, Robert, Russell, Stanley, Andy, Burke, Frankie and Harry, by his aunts Hilda, Arvena, Gloria, Doris, Marilyn, Sandra, Zelda, Shirley, Donnie and Hazel as well by his favourite ones Bryson, Sheldon, Kolby, Chase, Sienna, Ava, Jaylynn and so many others that we haven't included. </p><p><br></p><p>Kevin was predeceased by his grandfather Steve Wabason and grandmother Julia Shapwaykeesic.</p><p><br></p><p>A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2024 in the Chapel of Sargent and Son Funeral Home, 21 N. Court Street with Rev. Deacon Michael Robinson officiating. Burial will take place in Armstrong, Ontario after a formal service.</p>Obituary
